Rainbow Beach is the ultimate place to take your family for a 8 day holiday. Not only can you enjoy the major event "Mitsubishi Rainbow Beach Family Fishing Classic" but everything else this beautiful place has on offer. There is an activityes list as long as your arm to entertain everybody. The fishing is awesome! From the reefs to the beaches this region offers some of the best fishing in the world. Grab a bite to eat at Ed's Beach Bakery, as early as you like, before you head off fishing. Boat Ramps
There are several ramps available in the area. Rainbow Beach has a very efficient boat ramp at Carlo Point catering for boats of all sizes. Another ramp is also located at Bullock Point. Tin Can Bay has quite a few ramps with the main one being at Norman Point.
Fuel
Rainbow Beach has two fuel stations but does not have a marine refuelling station. Tin Can Bay has two marine refuelling stations. One at Norman Point and the other around the corner at the marina. By boat access from Carlo Point is only 10 minutes on the waterway.
Great Sandy National Park
Rainbow Beach offers camping in beautiful natural surroundings. Camp only in designated camping areas — penalties apply for camping in a restricted areas.
Rangers may visit your camp during the day to check PERMITS and to answer questions. For more information regarding camping, permits and sites, click here.

There are many options available which range from Resorts, Motels, B&B, rental houses, apartments, backpacker hostels and camping.
