Important information
- Entries submitted during the event will be subject to a 24hour waiting period before those entries can weigh-in.
- Children can ONLY fish in the beach category.( NOT OFFSHORE)
- No more than ONE fish of the same species can be weighed-in.
- Fish MUST be gilled, gutted and all Reef fish must have the pectorial finn cut.
- Size limites may vary from the official DPI size limits. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF THE COMPETITION SIZE LIMITS. Fish will NOT be weighed in if they are UNDER the competition size limit. (Table Below)

- THIS is a NEW CATEGORY.
- Fish entered into this category must be over 8KG.
- Nightly prizes will be awarded to the heaviest & runner up fish within the entire category. They will NOT be awarded per species within the category.
- Overall Prizes will be awarded to the heaviest & runner up and forms part of the Reef Fishing Section of the competition.
- DPI species size limits apply to all fish caught in this category.
- Fish from other official competition categories can NOT be weighed into this category.
- NO more than ONE fish per species within any category can be weighed in.
